looks like everyone is stepping up their game with the online multiplayer now. I don't know if I'd want co-op with this game because of the story aspect...but from a gameplay perspective I'm always all for it...

You know, I'm willing to take a developers decisions on faith if what they do is usually good and they haven't disappointed me in the past.  We'll see, I could definitely see cool possibilities here.

Well, Ninja Theory had originally planned to include an online deul mode for Heavenly Sword (which was then supposed to come as a free update after the game released :/ ), so maybe it's something like that.

I don't think it'll be co-op, as that would involve two Kratoses running around, which would just be wierd. If it's a deul mode, however, they could then include any other hominid bosses from the game.

Ugh. I hate the fact that every single game nowadays includes multiplayer.

Stick to what's best for the series and concentrate on that.

i have the same feeling too. but wat to do, those fussy game reviewers will put "no online gameplay" on the game if there is only single player mode.

Probably has something to do with Home integration, doesn't necessarily have to be Multi-player.

An online game where you throw hats at gongs would rock my socks in a way not legal in 48 states. Though seriously, in theory, the more DLC (assuming of course it would be DLC) you can slap on the game the more money you can milk it for, perhaps online will be developers solution to surviving the price crunch of Hd gaming.
