when you think about it, it is, and when talking about last gen, its all about the PS2. The dreamcast, the xbox and the cube cant outsell the ps2 last gen even those consoles have better specs than the PS2. With 130 million users so far, "it tells alot". I mean, how many times did Nintendo says they arent competing with 360 and the PS3? 

So how will you beat a console that is still selling over 5 years in its lifespan? Sorry for Wii fans there that Wii needs original exclusive games but to compete with the ps2 they will beat them in their own game by "multiplats".  Fight Night Round 3  have its own version in the PS2 even it is supposed to be in next gen system, and with those downgrading it says alot. There are also games that are in Ps3 and 360 that are ported in PS2. Now you see that PS2 is succesful till now because even though the games are downgraded ports, developers still ported it in PS2. PS2 was the king of multiplatform next to PC and with its cheap price and you dont need a HDTV to play with it, this console will still be the king of console even this generation end.

Then came the Wii,  so how will it beat the PS2? By doing nothing. YEP, NOTHING... Asides from the wiimote and now with wiifit theres nothing the Wii has to offer, not only that the system specs are form last gen, the spec was from the last gen that can even support PSP  and PS2 graphics, so its easy for developers to just port any PSP/PS2 game to it without making it from the ground up. Which also the Wii's important features, if developers even though they ported a ps3/360 game into PS2 which is hard because of its downgrading, why not the Wii.

 THAT and the exclusives wether 1st party or 3rd party and good advertisement toward the casuals could fall the PS2 to its pedestal. Remember, Nintendo can just refuse ports and shovelwares right now, but they dont. Instead, theyre encouraging it. Which means they want the PS2 ports to come to their system.

Wait, weren't we just in the anger stage? How did we end up back in denial? You can't go back a stage.

The battles are: PS2 V's Wii, PSP V's DS and PS3 V's 360

So many things wrong with that post and too tired to point them out.

I'll just make it short and simple and possibly elaborate tomorrow if someone doesn't beat me to it: no, do more research and try again.

You have to admit, most of the PS2 games are multiplats anyway, most of the exclusives are in next gen console and PS2 still sells, so what Im saying was true.

BTW, the multiplat games and ports why consoles and PCs are selling, not the exclusive opnes, the exclusive games are more of a frontrunner, in average gamer, they never care if thoise games are exclusive or not. Are Ps2 owners shift away from their consoles to PS3/360 because Haze, MGS4 and Killzone 2 are exclusives?
