In an effort to lower my gaming budget, I will now be focusing on buying more handheld games, and older games on consoles that have dropped down to a reasonable price ($30 or less).
So, I ask you, which game should I buy for this cost or less? Here are the ones that I was thinking of so far, and reasons to avoid confusion:
The World Ends With You:
Why I Might Like It: I've enjoyed several Square games in the past, and I'm always on the look out for more RPGs. The great reviews make it all the more enticing.
Why I Might Not Like it: I have no idea what it's even about.
Patapon:
Why I Might Like It: It's getting great reviews, and I love controlling massive amounts of critters.
Why I Might Not Like It: I don't know much about the gameplay, I've played very few rhythm games if any at all, and I'm not sure if the game has decent replay value or some kind of story.
The Lord of the Rings, The Battle For Middle-Earth II
Why I Might Like It: I'm a Lord of the Rings nut, Gamerace can tell you that. The game got some pretty good reviews, and it looks like a very fun game.
Why I Might Not Like It: An RTS? Yay! An RTS on a console? Hrmmmmmm.....
(My old PC, with which I play most of my games on, is completely full. No chance in hell I'm installing another game on that thing. My other PC is used for Vgchartz, emails, etc., and can't play most games.)
Crackdown:
Why I Might Like it:
Sandbox games have to be one of my favorite genres, and the similarity to City of Heroes/Villains and the amount of freedom just looks to be, well....rad!
Why I Might Not Like it: Considering that I'm playing Scarface obsessively right now, and that GTA4 just released, I don't want to have a Sandbox burnout.

Of course, I'm also open to suggestions for other games, as long as they're $30 or less. And no, I don't mean on eBay. Use Amazon.com if you're unsure of the price. If it's a game that's $35, that is also acceptable.
Thank you very much.
