Conker... good times. ;) I played the original demo at E3. It was so sickeningly sweet that I put it down for fear of getting cavities from playing it. (In all reality, it was a poor Mario 64 clone staring a squirrel.) A couple of shows later, Rare came back with a game that pushed the boundaries of 'family friendly' Nintendo and that was pur comic genius. (Either that or the free beer they were giving out got to me.) While not the greatest game play wise, it was an extremely funny title. Too bad we'll never see it on the Virtual Console. :(

And isn't No More Heroes somewhat of a parody on the sandbox genre? (Saving your game by sitting on the toilet?) And the previously mentioned The Simpsons Game is a parody on other games as well.

And I'll third, fourth, and fifth the idea that we don't need more crapware out there. 'Funny' or not.

I'm going to third the Simpsons Game as it supposedly pokes fun of other franchises like God of War.

The Sam and Max series are parody.

Coming soon, RPG Game. The main character is Clod Strap (as in strap-on, and that joke will be told bluntly). He's a parody of Cloud, because his hair is just like Cloud's. He also has the big sword. There are jokes about it being too heavy, but they won't be consistent of course.

See cameos by the metrosexual characters, but they will be obviously swishy gays this time. Okay, one won't be gay, and Clod will confuse him for a woman. Not he won't actually hit on the guy. He will say, "Man, I can't tell if this is a man or a woman."

As for the girls, there are Tits Lockthefanservice, with her enormous breasts, that constantly lactate for some reason, and Airhead Gayboy, whose last name won't really mean anything, and when Septictank tries to stab her, he will keep missing, and slicing off limbs, with lots of sprays of blood.

See a cameo by Soreass, with the Dildoblade, which is why he's called Soreass. Get it? Whoever gets "stabbed" by that blade will be whichever hot tabloid star turned old news 20 minutes before this comes out.

Psychonauts was full of parodies.

Except the Epic, Scary, Date, Spartan movies aren't even parody. Parody is the imitation of a genre with exaggeration for comedic effect. There's precious little of that anymore.

These movies have two types of "comedy"
1. Lame gross out and site gags.
2. Referencing. They mostly just rip off scenes from movies you've already seen, knowing that you'll say "oh man, I saw that movie!" And yes, that is different than parody. "Hey man, X-men!" There, I just wrote a Superhero movie joke.
