Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumor: Metroid Prime Trilogy to be Released for Wii

Guys, you are all posting crap. DMeisterJ is right. Remakes are a bad deal, even with they come with improved control and new content. Retro should work on new games.

Imagine Sony remaking a PS2 game that got low sales and average scores on the PS3. Like Siren, for example. You would all make fun of Sony's stupid decisions. What about the PS3 getting last generation improved ports from games released on rival consoles. The wii got Okami, Scarface, Godfather and more. It is not like we have games like Ninja Gaiden on the PS3.

Face it. You are part of the problem.

 Brilliant, but probably too subtle

@Dmeister: I do understand what you mean, but if you never owned a GC, you propably never have had the chance to play Metroid Prime. Sure, there's the BC, but tell me, where can you can find new Metroid Prime/Echoes? Especially with suggested price? And even more: where can you find MP/Echoes/Corruption for the price of only Corruption? There are 2 remakes/ports and one new game bundled with the price of that new game, and that's the whole point. I was expecting separate remakes with "players choice" pricerange, but this is better deal if you don't own any of the three or just one and want to play the rest of the two. And besides, this is a damn clever way to lure the PS360 core audience to Wii, which makes me pretty certain that Echoes multiplayer will be implemented to use WFC (or Corruption will be featured with Wi-Fi multiplayer), after all, weren't there rumors about Corruption having online multiplayer, so if there's any base for it, it will definately be this bundle will feature it in either Echoes or Corruption.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

A Nintendo spokesperson just dismissed this as "pure rumor and speculation."

Which, of course, doesn't say a damn thing about whether it's going to happen or not. :P
