If Halo 3 and "the greates holiday line up ever" can't get people to buy 360s, what can (especially FPS fans)

And I suspect that the ps3 will get a major sales boost due to the fact that it has more upcoming games.

However this is just my taste, but i think the ps3 has a much stronger line up.

Why do people say it will outsell the 360?

Well....just look at the charts. It's already doing it, and has been doing it for about 5 months now, even with "the greatest holiday lineup ever" from the 360!

And you know people will buy the system in groves when the big hitters come out. Just look what GT5:P....PROLOGUE did for Europe!

PS3 is outselling the 360 by 52,000 units/week so it will take 123 weeks for the PS3 to catch up to the 6.4 million consoles its behind... NOT 66

and the lead gonna be 50 k approx each week rest of the year rite ?... NOT

I can't be bothered to work it out, but it's going to take a long time for the PS3 to catch the 360 up.

Alot of people have pointed out how much better the ps3 08 lineup is which it is pretty impressive but the 360 also has a great lineup too which should do as well as the PS3.

I love your methodology.  Unlike a majority of people here on this site who back up their words with nothing, you have something behind your logic.

come on, FF13 will probably not come this way earlier than summer/fall 2009, same might count for GT5..

I'm also curious about the effect GT5 will have on the PS3 verses the 360 as i don't recall a driving game that could live up to the GT games but now there is the very capable Forza Motorsport.
