Its only a matter of time, I predict my biggest and best prediction yet.

The trifecta of SSSB, Mario Kart Wii & Wii-Fit, will kill the PS3, and sales WW will drop for the system down to the levels it’s been currently selling at in it’s homeland of Japan for months. The 360 will benefit from it’s EXCLUSIVE GTA4 DL content and make a huge comeback and likely outsell the PS3 World Wide (with the exception of Japan where both HD console will continue to suffer) as for the PS3 I will say it will fall back under the 360 and probably match GC sales world wide.

This all comes with this:The Wii is the fastest selling console ever made, and with the trifecta they are reaching all parts of the big blue ocean strategy. There are big games for hardcores, casuals, and Oprah Viewers. That and the fact that the game that made the ps2,GTA, is now no longer Sony exclusive but multi platform with the most content on a MICROSOFT owned console.

The PS3 is a great console and an even better BluRay player, but not one that deserves sales, I am expecting that SSSB, MKWii, Wii Fit on the Wii along with the 360 having the best GTA4 content will bring the Wii up even higher than the current rate of fastest selling console ever made, and bring the 360 much higher than halo 3 achieved.

This is my prediction, SSSB, Wii Fit & MKWii will kill the PS3.

A few of you "got it". A suprising amount of you did not. I'm putting this here so you realize I was just showing the how a ridiculous fanboy statement could be turned around to make a contrasting ridiculous fanboy statement. Naznatips got it, as well as Torillian, Zenfolder, LongLiveTheBeatles, OT7 and a few more.... 

For the record. I don't believe the PS3 will fail AT ALL, though I do think it will come in second this gen. MS will be 3rd, but all will continue to sell massive numbers. My thread is a complete parody of the "End of the Wii" thread, I even mispelled "preditcion" as the original thread had it spelled that way. I then just edited that thread and changed the names of the games and systems. I added the 360 stuff to counter the original "GTA is the game that made the PS2" part. When grammer made no sense in the original post, I left it to not make sense in mine. And I have no idea which GTA4 will ultimately win, time will decide that. I have no opinion on the matter.

I'm posting this here because last night the "other" thread was getting a lot of attention, which is what flame bait is intended to do, I thought it would be a great sarcastic post to counter it using the original post with a few simple edits. But today the orginal post has fallen off the radar, and people reading it today might actually think this thread is a serious prediction, which it was never intended to be. I posted about 40 posts in that it was a parody, but people aren't "getting" it even after reading that. So I decided to edit the first post and link the original. I actually am suprised how many of you actually didn't realize it was just ultra sarcastic parody even after I told you directly. I wish no ill on any console, I hoped many of you would immediatley get the joke as you did with the famous Wii Bingo stunt from Rol :)

Thanks Joel. However, you are completely wrong. The big three Nintendo games are KI, Pilotwings, and Disaster. They all come out in the 2nd half of 08 and are refered to as the big three PS3 killers.

I agree, but I have a different reason why the PS3 will fizzle out. We'll see I guess.

How can you hope for such great success with the Wii?

Nintendo is destroying the industry since they aren't serious about online play. I mean GC started out selling well at first too but duct taping two of them together will fail once HD adoption rates go up. By then PS60 will get price cuts and the Wii is done for since it's just a party fad and has no actual games. Seriously no games, all the real games are on PS3/360 not garbage like WiiFit. Everybody knows Wii only sells because it's cheap, might as well be free and sell millions quickly! The Wiimote is a gimmick and 3rd parties know it so they won't support the Wii. Nintendo probably knows it too since they are abandoning the hardcore according to Pachter. All they put out are minigames for stupid casuals and VC games are just overpriced rom dumps. Once legit games like Gears of War 2 and KZ2 and MGS4 come out the tide will turn and Nintendo won't be able to keep milking profit from inferior hardware. They'll have to start over and probably release two other consoles before PS3's ten year plan ends and both of those other consoles will only have nintendo games as those are the only ones that sell like Wii Sports which people will be tired of soon.
