Who thinks GTA4 will sell more then halo did on its first week?

ioi has said that pre-orders in the US are 2.4m for 360 and 1.6m for PS3, so I think a 7m total is acheivable, with the 360 numbers just failling short of halo, but overall, they will thrash it

I think 360 has a chance to do it with what Munkeh said. It will definitely beat it combined though.

If so then I am not sure, GTA is much bigger in Europe than Halo so perhaps the increase in 360s userbase (in both regions) will help it's version beat Halo 3.

Of course if it is a close match then first of all we will have to wait till GTA releases in Japan (unless it is the same week?) and second of all you have to remember that being a few dozen k or perhaps a couple of hundred k either way means nothing as it is basically a tie.

If we are talking about Americas only, then definately not, the 360 version will not manage 2.8 million... however combined versions obviously will.

I think yes and yes at a real push. Just pure guess work but i'm only working on the idea that there are more 360's in people's homes now.
