Hmmm I don't care that much about my image. I wouldn't leave someone just because they became disabled. I would leave them if their becoming disabled made them irritable and mean. I'm a cashier at a grocery store, I have a bunch of customers who have some really nasty things going on. Theres one guy who can't get his hand to do what he wants it to do. Theres another woman who shakes like crazy. A few people like that, and something they all share is they are REALLY MEAN. It seems they take out their frustrations on me, the low paid cashier who can't fight back.

I understand personal preference, but Id prefer it if you didnt just imply that anyone who has a disability is abnormal, its extremely offensive.

Well, I never said it wasn't offensive.

It's extremely offensive, and I don't mean to offend, but I'd never date a handicapped person.  I hope I haven't hurt your feelings, but that's just how I feel.

Sorry to any who feel/felt offended.

 Permanently? I'm sure we've all confined to crutches/wheelchairs at some point in our lives. I sprained my ankle really bad once and my leg was black from my toes to the top of my calf. Was stuck with crutches for awhile. When I went on vacation with the family to the British virgin islands, we went sailing. I found it to be incredibly difficult getting on a boat with crutches. I ended up just flinging myself onto the boat when it drifted close enough.

How do you define disability? Because my girlfriend is allergic to penicillin, does that count. If you're talking about paraplegics etc... Then no, sorry I'm shallow.

 Nah not permenantly lose em in 3 weeks or so, but my friends refer to me as cripple in a conversation now, but its okay i can whack from long range!

 

And about the boat thing iv developed the same tactic for sitting or lying down, its just a lot simpler.
