Wow that is a long title.  Well this news is a couple of days old, but I think it's being overshadowed by the Manhunt news. Here a quick trailer of FF on Wii. It's a foreign site and the video is right under SQUARE ENIX PARTY 2007. Near the end of the video you can see some ingame footage of a battle. Looks decent if you ask me.

Looks really good, but (much like Dragon Quest Swords) I want to know far more about the game before I start to get excited.

Do you think that part where he's in the air shooting the dragons is in-game? I think it is, not sure though.

Just found the other thread about this. It's entitled trailer up tomorrow though.

I imagine a lot of power increase will come directly from your weapons, and what kind of magic your weapons use...if it's anything like the first Crystal Chronicles.

The video is pretty devoid of content. They aren't showing anything that will sell me on the game after the last one in the series...

Well he means in-game combat, not a cutscene or whatever.

I thought this game had those bobblehead chibi characters on the GC.

I know, but there was so little of anything shown that I couldn't really "see gameplay" for lack of a better term ...

I think it is entirely possible that shooting at the dragon is in game but (being that there is no HUD) it is hard to tell.
