I read about people being jumped here for critisism, but I never thought they also jump you for asking a question. That statement is kind of like slapping him in the face. You are basically just telling him to buy a different system, even though he wants advice on how to save his 360. You are also saying the 360 is sh**. Which, if you played one, you would not say.

Don't you read my posts? I had 2 360's and played numerous. I never criticised the 360 as a gaming platform, only on their hardware failure rate. Why do you assume the worst?

Company's that don't act on their hardware issues don't deserve people like you defending the 360. I do hope for their sake you never turn on them and give them the same treatment as you give me for being critical. MS should keep you as their friend.

 Edit: Why can't I make a prediction based on numbers? The 360 did poor in Japan as predicted, why remove it? I also have my Wii prediction in there which will probably be wrong, but I'll take my losses and keep everything in my sig. I should really update my list of games, it in no way represents the games I own although I logically don't own 360 games anymore.

Honestly I see zero troll from Gazz in this thread, he asked the opening poster if he bought the console with knowledge of the RROD issues nicely. Everyone else jumped on him and he defended himself. The main trolls in this thread are actually both Legend and Strategy.

OT: Call M$ and see if they will repair the console if its under warranty. Hopefully it is. If not there might be a price drop sometime soon so you might be able a bit of an easier purchase in the future.

Also to keep the 360 cooler, buy a Antec Laptop Cooler. It is powered by the USB port and can drop the overall term by 10 degrees Celsius.

Still what types of games do you like? Each console has games of almost every genre. I only ask because you said you bought the 360 because it has games you like.

 Is that why they replace consoles with RRoD for free?

 honestly it might be for free, which should be free anyways, but considering they don't always replace the console with a new one, or use various parts from other broken consoles (Opus chipset). its not much of a service.

Definately RRoD about to happen. Send to MS ammeadiately. Or if you can go back to store for replacement. Some stores do. How old is it?
