No, but if you can't substantiate a claim maybe don't make that claim. People are allowed to be dissatisfied.

I can make a claim and i can prove it . but you don't want me to put all the prove. I also can put all the comment on every website about Capcom games news . Also Capcom has been generous to 3DS and other nintendo platform so far.

Website comments don't prove a majority consensus.

And no, Crapcom's Switch support is not "generous" at all. If it was even good they'd have long since ported RE7 and made a new Monster Hunter for Switch. Ancient overpriced ports not even all on the game card and not even getting physical releases in all regions is the opposite of good support.

At best it would be a cloud version imho.

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Well it's still a good comparison, neither you can disagree nor disprove the method. It's still better than nothing. Hell even the first choices is better "Youtube view " or Twitter "like"

Well they are crap to "some" Nintendo fans. But not all call them crap, some of them grateful.

Capcom have been generous by porting a lot of games to Switch. Of course it's a matter of opinion and tastes. Because who don't like playing old relics on portable isn't that's the purpose of Switch.

Don't know if I'd call porting DMC 1, 2 and 3 as separate games as generous, when there's been an HD collection on other systems for years.
And the price of the HD collection is less than it costs to buy one of those singular games on Switch.

But the Switch version of DMC3 has new meaningful content, and they have ported a good number of quality (but older) games that people like so they've done good in that department as well.

Well they are being generous to their bank account =p

Its not proof of anything though.

Look, if you're happy with what they offer, fine. But don't give other people grief for being dissatisfied with 'support' that consists of reselling last gen or even older games at an inflated price with mandatory downloads or no physical copy at all.

Or a heavily downgraded port. There's RE7 for reference, though, so it'd likely be a cloud version.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I don`t like streaming but would prefer cloud versus downgrade. But from what I know of Switch userbase they would prefer the practical side of having it on media and easier to play on the go without connection issues.

The tragedy is it wouldn't even be that hard for them to bring games like RE7 or RE2/3 Remake to Switch; they wouldn't even have to do it themselves, by now there are multiple studios like Panic Button and QLOC who've shown they can bring "impossible" ports to the system. They could just give it to one of those teams to handle.

Maybe the RE Engine is not compatible with the Switch??

Re7 runs at 1080p and 60fps on Xbone S and PS4 slim.

RE2R runs at 1080p and 50-55 FPS on both consoles.

Maybe they will make a cloud version. But Capcom is been giving a lot of excellent games like DMCV, Mh World, RE2R, Re3R and Re7 in the last 3 years.

Given the Switch already runs considerably more demanding games from several current gen engines that were not designed with Switch in mind, it seems most likely they simply didn't put the work in.
