LMAO, Aniplex and Sony Music are owned by Sony, who also owns Playstation.

If you want to continue begging for a 4 year old port for years to come instead of actually playing the game thats on you. I'm just showing potential reasons.

I never begged for anything. JRPGs like Persona are not my cup of tea, and if it did come to Switch I wouldn't even consider buying it.

But the claim that a 4 year old Switch port of Persona 5 would compromise a Sony music deal is just absurd.

To you sure, but to most it's business as usual. Publishers spend money just to get exclusive marketing campaigns for a third party game. There is nothing absurd by a company investing into a game while it is exclusive.

It is completely absurd to suggest that Sony would feel so threatened by a port of a relatively niche third party game from 4 years ago that their music division would tear up an arrangement.

Persona franchise is not niche. P5 has sold 3.2 million and is still growing. That makes it the biggest full third party exclusive on any console. It also sells a lot of mulitmedia.

Like I said, it isn't. There is a thing called a partnership (with clauses and contracts) but you seem unable to comprehend that, so thats on you. If you keep repeating the same "but its absurd, its absurd" reply you might as well not reply.

3.2 million is not a big number in today's industry.

And you vastly overestimate how important Persona 5 is to Sony. If they cared as much as you suggest, they would've blocked Persona 5 Scramble from releasing on Switch.

Sony themselves have come out and said Persona is important to them LMAO

Its like everything you say is the opposite of whats happening in reality.

Sony probably doesn't care about spin offs as much. P4A/P4AU was multiplat, PQ/2 was a 3DS exclusive.

Meanwhile P3, P3 FES, P4, P4G, P5 and P5R have all been Playstation exclusive.

Company speak is nothing but PR. A platform holder with many 10 million plus selling exclusives isn't going to bother blocking a third party game from 4 years ago that sold 3 million copies from going to a platform that's not even a direct competitor. If Atlus wanted to, they would, and Sony wouldn't give a shit because it doesn't harm or compromise them in any way.

Yeah you're delusional. You questioned if Sony thinks Persona is important to them, and I evidently showed a SIE DIRECTOR saying it's important to Playstation.

Keep whining about Persona being exclusive to Playstation, saying it's absurd its absurd, while Persona and a dozen other Japanese games continue being PS exclusive as its business as usual.

I guess we'll simply have to disagree, which is fine. As I say, Persona 5 really isn't my thing personally so if it never comes to Switch I wouldn't be fussed.

Yeah, same as SMT.

"dozen other Japanese games continue being PS exclusive", nowadays, they at least come to pc too
