Little to no audience for Persona on Switch. Even if P5 came to switch it wouldn't sell that much this late into the gen.

You could say that about Overwatch since the sequel is coming soon. But they still ported it on the Switch. I felt like they shouldn't have ported TMS#FE and just used its time and effort to port P5 on Switch.

Then that would be Sega’s/Atlus’ missed opportunity to grow the Persona fan base beyond PlayStation.

There's still plenty of growth to be seen on Playstation. Sony also must help with the multimedia aspect: anime, music etc

But going multi platform wouldn’t hurt either.
Can be the same for SMTV if they went multi platform instead of exclusive.

I dont think people expected The witcher 3, Cuphead, Overwatch on Switch and Joker, Sans and Cuphead in Smash to happen but here we are. They may be unrelated but you dont know what will happen.

The year's got nothing to do with it. It's not a demanding game at all so it'd be easy and cheap to port over, not bringing it to Switch is simply leaving money on the table for no good reason.

Well it might, if Sony did have a big investment into its multimedia.

Nintendo and Atlus have already had every opportunity to announce it though, unlike your other games. Instead SW got P5S.

No one knows whats going to happen, doesn't mean we can't use obvious indicators to predict whats going to happen.

They are already making plenty of money on PS and have Sony's Aniplex/Music backing. The money on the table is a fraction of what they get know and might not be enough to compromise what they have now.

It wouldn't "compromise" anything. They'd simply add some extra income from Switch while losing absolutely nothing.
