I prefer...

Crash Bandicoot Trilogy 11 37.93%

Spyro Trilogy 18 62.07%

Total:29

Reading the comments, I'm kinda surprised how well Spyro is doing! 😲

Crash was very early in the gen, the crash games became more open with crash warped (jet ski levels ) around the same time the first spyro released. If something I always prefered the Crash Universe.

I enjoy both of them for different reasons. But i like Spyro more.

I love Spyro Trilogy more than Crash Trilogy because it featured true 3D exploration and open ended almost like a Super Mario 64 game but plays as a purple dragon.

Haven't played Crash trilogy but I really liked Spyro, don't think crash will win.

This is incredibly hard for me to choose as both trilogies were a huge part of my childhood, and I love them both dearly to this day.

I like the whackier style of Crash more, but the difficulty could get a little excessive and frustrating at times. As such, I ultimately have to go with Spyro by just the thinnest of margins. Both are amazing though and I'd love to see modern new entries in both franchises following the success of the N.Sane and Reignited remakes.

Having not played either series owning the N64 at the time, I bought the Crash trilogy awhile back. I'm not a fan of it, played through a few hours of the first game and a few hours of the 2nd crash. Not liking Crash turned me off from getting Spyro, but all the positive things said about Spyro in this thread may tempt me one of these sales.

They are nothing alike, it's like comparing Donkey Kong Country to Super Mario 64

They are very different series; Crash focuses on linear obstacle course corridors with a high difficulty level, Spyro is more about leisurely exploring semi-open levels with a mild to moderate difficulty level.

Crash, while it can get frustrating at times, more so 1 and to a lesser extent 2, I can have a lot of fun with them, 3 is just great overall.

Always found Spyro boring to play.
