Forums - Politics Discussion - Record Temperatures

Yeah, these records are being set all over the place. The winters here in my part of Canada have been ridiculously warm the last 5 or so years.

In 2015, we didn't even have snow in my city until January, and had ****ING RAIN on December 24. Both unheard of for most if recorded history, and unseen up to that point in my life. It's whatever though. The real marquee record is fastest man alive.

@Jumpin There's a time and place for sarcasm or cryptic responses, but in threads like these where serious discussion can already be taxing and time consuming, let's not have people potentially waste their time trying to figure out if someone is serious or not.

We had some (non-lasting) snowfall in November in Luxembourg. Since then, it's been rain, rain rain... and lots of wind. We're awaiting the third storm incoming now within 3 weeks, 30 years ago, we maybe got one or two a year...

Also, the temperatures are expected to go as high as 18°C on Sunday, at a time where we're normally expecting the coldest temperatures of the year. That's not global warming anymore, that's global grilling!

NASA 1999 vs 2019. Cooling past temperatures (in particular the 1930s) to create a "warming trend"

It is called "Global Warming" for a reason, and that reason is that different areas may experience temperature change differently, so you need to take Global temperatures into account, and not just temperatures of one area, such as the USA.

If you want to only look at data from 1999 and ignore all the improvements that have been made in our ability to handle the raw data, here is the global temperature data from NASA from 1999:

warmest winter in new york city in my opinion.

This is definitely one of the warmest winters I've seen, if not the warmest winter. It sucks because you get the worst of autumn... in winter.

I bet people in the Southern Hemisphere would disagree.

If anyone is an expert on the Southern hemisphere it's me. They claim that's where the third world and Australia reside; countries where the truth of their existence is questionable at best!

Third world? That's where all them liberal drugs (crack, smack, and meth) come from because they don't like good conservative drugs like Xanax, Adderall, Viagra, and Oxycontin. Australia? That's where England shipped its murderers and burglars! They're as dishonest down there as a cowjacking hollorang swiggin grit alcohol and snatchers up at 3:00 am knifeslingin on a Tuesday night out rootin, tootin, and prostitutin'!

Explain to me why in LA California the average temperature is 35 degrees in 1936 and yet the average temperature in Greenbay is only like 16.3 in 2016? Somethin be mighty fishy if you talkin to me.

And let me tell you about that crack. I got sucked in by the liberal press! "I never did drugs" they says. "I don't need drugs to have a good time!" they continues. Well, little Jumpin didn't understand why he never had a good time, so that led me to do drugs! I really did 'em! Opened my eyes, now I can't stop telling stories that don't go anywhere.

You can cut the trolling/baiting out now. Cheers.

I used to believe in global warming. It was clear that the temperature was rising all the way to early August. But then something happened and it has clearly been falling every single month since then, thus disproving science bitches. Sometimes science is a liar!

I bet people in the Southern Hemisphere would disagree.

In a span of 48 hours my town went from dealing with this...

To fucking this:

Ironically an hour before the floods hit... I was flown over to Kangaroo Island and ended up dealing with this:

To say things have been bullshit would be selling it short.

However we have been warned about this for years to come... It was asserted by a climate change study that the impacts of climate change would be directly observable by 2020 in Australia and we are definitely seeing that, the fire chiefs have all been warning about it for years... And were ignored, resulting in the current situation. - And we still have uneducated cucks who think Climate Change isn't real, just because they saw a facebook meme or a Youtube video.

At some point, the changes will become so drastic people cant ignore it anymore.

In the meantime we are putting our lives at risk to deal with the issues whilst they play ignorance.

Because I am directly dealing with the symptoms of climate change, I will be a little more abrupt about the topic than normal...
