His point of assumeing "over" 48m, means 800,000+ units (which is almost 49m) is abit much.

Don't have exact sell through for the same period. However, we do have Sony's sell through for the next quarter, 53.4M. I imagine PS4 will be ahead by at least 1M-2M.

Now, time to say some delicious truths and make predicitons in advance:

Truth: I made some very wrong predictions and claims in the past, but unlike the stupid nintendo haters, I have no trouble admitting when I was wrong and moving on.

Obvious truth for eveyone: The switch is a 9th gen system due to the large time gap between it and the start of the 8th gen. This is also why the ps5 and series x will be 10th gen systems, as they're releasing too long after the start of the 9th gen. This is a mere separation of systems due to time and has nothing to do with which is better or anything. However, nintendo haters are so pathetic that they think admitting this simple truth equals saying the switch is better than the ps4/x1 (it is, but not because of it's generation). So we get all kinds of pathetic mental gymnastics to claim the switch is an 8th gen system.

Prediction: As time goes on and it gets clear that the switch will outsell the ps4, nintendo haters will begin claiming that it is in fact a 9th gen system. But they will still claim that the ps5 and series x are 9th gen systems that compete with the switch. But it will take little time for they to see that at least the ps5 will sell less than the ps4 (and therefore, less than the switch), so their hater butthurt will kick in and suddenly they will claim the switch is a 9th gen while the ps5, series x and switch 2 are 10th gen. Which is the truth, but will only be admitted due to butthurt. It won't even help them anyway since the switch 2 is more likely than not to win the 10th gen too.

Truth: Sony won the 5th, 6th and 8th gens for home consoles. They did require lots of moneyhatting but the absolute fact is that they won those generations. See how easy it is to say that? Nintendo haters are so pathetic that they can't for their life admit nintendo won anything, as if it physically hurts them. The biggest example yet is obviously the wii, which was a big turnaround for nintendo that stole back a lot of consumers that bought a ps2 and even got new people into gaming. So of course the retarded haters came up with the term "casual" or "too weak to be 7th gen" to claim nintendo wasn't competing with the others. Even when there's some semblance of admitting nintendo won the gen, it is atributted to sony and MS mistakes (which helped, sure) while ignoring all the right things nintendo did. This kind of denial was also present when the 3ds kicked sony out of the portable market. And now we have the switch, which filthy haters claim is not competing directly/ it is just a portable yada yada. PATHETIC.

Prediction: If the ps5 and series x have a launch price of $499, both will have a very slow start due to the mass market not accepting such high prices, most games being cross generation at first AND the switch being on it's peak period at half those prices. It will likely take untill mid 2020 for a bigger stream of non cross gen system sellers plus pricecuts to $399 for those to get some momentum. If nintendo released the switch 2 in november 2022 for $299-349, it has great chances of stealing all momentum from those two, having better price, nintendo's exclusives and even better 3rd party support than the switch right away.

Truth: The switch is overal 40% as capable as a ps4, although nintendo haters pathetically claim it is less than 25% as capable due to "teraflops". Yet many conviniently changed their speech now that the ps5 is weaker than series x.

Prediction: The switch 2 will have a large jump in power over it's predecessor if it has a similar form factor and launch price. A 7-8x jump in power should be expected, putting the switch 2 at around 50-60% the overal capabilities of a ps5. That will make it much better than the hardware revisions of ps4 pro and x1x (although the x1x might tie or be a little above it in gpu raw power while losing in everything else by a wide margin). With those numbers, the ps5 and series x will likely run multiplatform games in 1800-2160p while the switch 2 will run those games in 1440p docked (with maybe some graphical downgrades) and the same framerates. Portable mode resolution will depend on the gap between portable and docked gpu clocks. Less intensive games will run in 4k just like the switch runs less intensive games in 1080p.

Prediction: Nintendo haters will continue to whine and cry in their eternal butthurt everytime nintendo sees success in something. And I will always come back here to destroy their sorry asses and rub it in their faces.
