Forums - Gaming Discussion - [Warcraft 3:Reforged] - Stuff hits the fan - Update Feb/04 - Blizz answer added

0.5 now! Apparently people upvoted other lowest scoring games to help ensure Reforged is the lowest all time, dayum! Wasn't even necessary xD

Blizzard has yet to respond, no doubt conversing with their Chinese overlords first. Anything less than restoring Warcraft 3 to it's original state will be unacceptable.

Not here to defend this game however who actually follows user scores?
Alot of them are probably none gamers or havnt even played the game. Probably salty people from the China event.
Either way.. is the game a 0.5? I dont believe the game is that broken.

While user scores definitely don't tell a lot about the game itself, they do show a lot of outrage against the game/developer.
No game goes that low without really pissing off people.

This does suggest that Blizzard has lost all the good will they once had, or at least the greater part of it.
This can in time turn into less pre-orders, less favorable reviews (because let's face it, reviewers are affected by consumer expectation, to a degree) and a lot less forgivable market to their mistakes (like the Hong Kong debacle)

I totally agree that Blizzard needs to answer this somehow. Just pretending to not see that 15 thousand people zeroed the game score will just make people angrier.

Miss using User Scores to get a point across is just as sad as the problem at hand and only makes User Scores seem more of a joke.

Sure the game isn't perfect in any means, however if someone actually believes this game is a 0.5/10? Haha that would be quite sad to see.

Maybe Blizzard will react to the low User scores and address the issue however I don't think they would care as its User Scores not critic scores.

0.7 now, tied for lowest userscore. Obviously, the game isn't that bad objectively, but I certainly wont argue in it's defense. Infact I'd say the score does make sense when strictly looking at it as a remaster. The slightly improved graphics is the only positive, everything else is worse, giving no reason for this game to even exist aside from blindly throwing Blizzard money. Mainly the score shows how people feel about the game and situation surrounding it and is very telling that the game has serious issues.

EDIT: Also that false campaign trailer is still on the official website site - https://playwarcraft3.com/en-us/

EDIT2: Oh I'm mistaken, it's actually the lowest userscore already - https://www.metacritic.com/browse/games/score/userscore/all/all/all?sort=desc&page=191

I didn't even knew it was possible to go that low. I mean No man's Sky overpromised hell and heaven and got 3.1, Fallout 76 had bugs inside of its bugs and managed to hold 2.6

And I agree with you, while objectively the game is not that bad, this does put Blizzard in the same group of Bethesda and EA, which was unthinkable years ago.

Hell, it was unthinkable for many that Bethesda would get there anytime soon back then.

It's the only way people have to get the point across. Talking about in forums like we do isn't going to get any attention.

Damn, Blizzard need to take some "How to Remake" lessons from Square Enix and Capcom.

Well this alone won't do anything either if the game still sells well enough. It's safe to say they're at the point where they care only about money, quality of their products be damned.

Eh maybe not from Square haha.

Well MS is certainly giving them that core lesson in the RTS dept, so that makes more sense than an MMO remake.

Very true. The money will be the greatest motivator, for good or bad.
