Nice knowing you Blizzard.

The 90s were great, but man did you not age like wine.

You have been digging your own grave slowly but surely, but you are now accelerating the process.

I wish you’ll wake up, because you used to be one of my favourite game developer, but I am not holding my breath. At this point you deserve all the backlash and I hope you go down if you continue down the path you’ve decided to take.

I’d blame Activision, but the merger isn’t Activision. It’s Activision-Blizzard. So fuck you.

Blizzard has lost its way. Forgotten who they are, and how they got where they currently are.
It started even before Diablo III imo.

All this WC3 Reforged stuff just has me feeling like its a repeat of this:

This reminds me. I should really buy this.

I didn't follow the development very closely, so I can't speak to whether they overpromised.

I am playing through Reforged's campaign though and it is the same top notch game with better graphics and a few other minor improvements. Which is sort of what I felt I was promised?

Same here. I am enjoying the Canpaign alot, its exactly how i remember it.

I never got into the online/Multiplayer feature so i have no idea what was chopped or gained and personally.. i could careless. I brought it for the campaign experience.

Blizzard aged like wine. Too bad somebody left the bottle open, so it became vinegar in the meanwhile.

Updated first post with the new metacritic user score, refund issues and clarification about the older client

All well and good but what about those who have the original and can't play it due to the client being changed? Some people can decide the new additions aren't worth it but Blizzard has stopped them playing a game they owned to force this one through.  I think that move is something even EA hasn't done.

same, people just love to bash

I understand enjoying the game, which is good since 2002, but I feel like it is pretty obvious that this launch have issues.

I mean, we can't even map hotkeys. In 2020! Even Age of Empires 2 got that right with their remake.
There are several Quality of Life changes that were simple to add and would go a long way updating the game to 2020 standarts and design, but not even that,

Additionaly the costumer service was atroucius, the original client pretty much destroyed and we have not talked about the bugs yet

Same.  I enjoyed the game when it originally came out, though I never did play the Frozen Throne expansion.

None of these supposed "controversies" look to be anything I care about.

Now a 0.8 on metacritic dayum! You'd think the corporate shills would keep it from getting that low, but perhaps many of them finally drew the line over this.
