Well, they are the most consistent.

With Xbox, their brand took a hit with the X1's dodgy launch and how poorly their PR team handled it. There's hardly and notable games on the system either, sadly.

Nintendo are incredible, but their audience seem to be more casual than anything else. I think the Wii U's poor run showed that.

As PC and Playstation guy with abit of Nintendo spice. I can say i agree with this research because ;

For PC fan, PC are made by many platform, they consist of many hardware and software company stick together creating your own platform and you pick and choose whatever you like. PC is a self platform and agnostic , some PC gamer support AMD , some support Intel, Nvidia. PC gamers never loyal to one hardware as long it's worth the price they will buy it.

Playstation or console in general is more easy to be loyal, because it's consist on one platform , one hardware, and one store and one community. All gamer experience are dictated by one company and one single brand.

I knew that since 2006. PS3 in its early years had no business selling as much as it did with all that bad PR. Only after MGS4 did it really earn its numbers imo

I'm a console slut in an open relationship with Nintendo.

They're my first choice as I adore their first party stuff, but I'll sleep around with Xbox and Playstation when they offer games that appeal to me; last gen for example I picked up a 360 to play games like Bioshock and Bayonetta that I was fascinated by but couldn't get on Wii.

Haha. Soon changed their tune. I remember when Switch was behind VR and now it's 1% behind PS5.
