Bayonetta vs. Vanquish

Bayonetta 548 72.30%

Vanquish 210 27.70%

Total:758

Far out this is hard, both are among my favourite games of last gen, with superb pulse-pounding action and a badass sense of style.

Ultimately I have to go with Bayonetta though, due to how entertaining she is as a character.

I already owned both on Xbox 360. Then I got Bayonetta again for the Wii U. And then again for the Switch.

Vanquish is good but Bayonetta is one of my all time favorites. Not sure if I'll be buying the collection, though.

I have Bayonetta 1 on 3 platforms. 360. Wii U and Switch and soon PS4. I have Vanquish on one. PS3. I don't count on PC since it's just steam.

VanQuish is my favorite TPS of all time. (Last gen is full of some great shooters I love, Armored Core For Answer.EX Troopers, Bulletstorm, Binary Domain and more )Bayonetta 2 I think it is better than the first. Besides the best stylish character-focused action game PG did on 360 or PS3 was Metal Gear Rising. That also needs a remaster. Hell, everything I have mentioned I'd take a remaster of on Switch.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I only played the demo for Bayonetta 2 and boy that wasn't very fun at all. I also found the tone of the game off putting. Who knows, maybe I would have gotten into it if I had given it a bit longer, but I'm just not that much of a fan of Real Time Event button presses.

I have yet to play Vanquish so if I were hypothetically buying the game, I'd go straight for Vanquish of course.

That's exactly why I chose Vanquish. Although I have it on PS3 digitally, I've never got around to playing it. Since I've played Bayonetta numerous of times, I opted for Vanquish being of more interest to me personally.

Bayonetta because bewbs.

I'm a simple man. =P

Official member of VGC's Nintendo family, approved by the one and only RolStoppable. I feel honored.

Vanquish as I couldn't be bothered to finish Bayonetta.
Not a bad game by any means but had some very cheap trial and error moments coupled with bad checkpoints.

Only flaw Vanquish has is its short length.

Bayonetta was fine on 360. Plays even better on X1 so I have no real desire to revisit a remaster.

Vanquish felt like it should be a 60 fps experience and it was sub HD before. So I want to revisit that game since it has more benefits from a remaster.

Unfortunately, they arent separate it seems.

Bayonetta. I thought Vanquish was alright, but Bayonetta is fantastic.

Bayonetta is a better action game due to its combat but Vanquish is better to play through as a game as it has less bs moments and better structure.
