Size wise (with compression) (32GB carts), and cpu wise... the Switch should be able to run a Scaled down / back version of MHW.
The lack of loading screens, and ram size, and data streaming might give it issues though (I have no idea).

I think MHW2 will be designed around the PS5/XB2.
That might be harder to get running on the Switch.

Yes, they will probably do a Switch specific version of Monster Hunter. Their next inevitable big budget MHW sequel will probably be PS5/XBX/PC.

Yeah I think off-shoots, of the mainline games (MHW) will come, so the Switch also gets a MH game.

The main focus and quality going forwards for MH will probably be xb+ps+pc, like you said.
The sales numbers MHW did, means it doesnt make sense to do any differnt.

Congratulations on the sales and let's see what they are cooking for PS5.

I am glad they are moving their priority from handled to consoles .

Capcom probably already making the sequel for next gen consoles

Really liked the base game but Iceborne rendering all your equipment useless was such a dick move I'll probably never play it again.

Bring on Monster Hunter Universe or whatever clichéd name they'll come up with next, though!

Is it safe to assume this has sold around 10 Million on PS4?

Oh definitely. MHW is ps4 exclusive in japan and it has sold well over 4m there. And then at least half of the 11m for outside of japan and thats 10m on ps4

Would've sold 5 times as much if it stayed Nintendo exclusive.

Yes it would but it would still have PS2 graphics and gameplay mechanics...

Like it done on previous versions =p

Each Switch owner would buy it twice.
