It looks like a retro Duke Nuke'em, you'd have to expect developers might not be the most gentle worded people around.

If you enjoyed playing the old Duke Nuke'em, and dont mind old dated looking games (or find that aspect appealing), yes get it.
You always judge a game on its own merits, what some dev or PR guy once wrote on twitter, shouldnt effect if you buy something or not.

If you hated Duke Nukem for objectifying women, don't buy this game.

I just learned that Shadow Warrior (PC, 1997) has been ported to PSP! If only the PSP had two joysticks.

The game is really fun, potentially offensive content aside (I don't even think the game is really that offensive).

Buy it, I finished the game and loved it. 3D Realms did an amazing job and its been patched now with achievements etc.

Get Bulletstorm and don't play as Duke. Fantastic FPS.

So, there is a controversy about a simple and pretty harmless (as you describe it) joke? Well then you should be offended! I thought the game pushed nationalist and militaristic propaganda like America's Army, that would be OK.

Ion Fury is the best BUILD engine game with a few drawbacks (too long and padded for its own good) but it plays very well.

played it, loved it although it was a bit too long. heard about the controversy later, honestly didn't notice anything offensive in the game and don't care what people say outside the game. found a taste for those kind of games, played 2013 shadow warriors which was also good, shadow warriors 2 sucked, tried the rerelease of duke nukem 3d which I dropped because it felt too outdated and searching for keys and the right way was too annoying.
