I keep hearing that the multiplayer is pretty good, but I can't play it unfortunately. They shut down the PS3 servers last year. =(

Maybe I'll replay the game on survivor and try the multiplayer when I get a PS4 and if I buy the remaster. 

Wholeheartedly agree with this. It's probably the one that hit me deeper than any other game this past decade.

And sorry to give you some advice about a game that I played and finished more than 5 times, that i know at the milimiter. I guess you must know as much as me about the game. If you want to know why the people that liked the gameplay like me think that way, thas was just me giving an advice. If you only want to feel offended by the comment..., look, do whatever you want...It's a lost cause with most of you.

TLOU is not a stealth game, period. It's an action/survival game with stealth mechanics. Like a game like Horizon Zero Dawn or even Uncharted have. You can play those games completely going stealth all the time and on easier difficulties, but then you would miss a lot about their gameplay mechanics too...., but ey, to each their own. 

And about the other point, what do you really want to discuss here? A poll where people voted games?? Those are not professional reviewers, they are just normal people that voted for a game, and the fact is that a game received more votes than the rest. Some people are just saying they prefer other games although crediting the game for winning, which is completely fine, but there are lots more that are just not accepting the fact that the game won that poll and are just shitting on the game, discrediting the voters and Metacritic itself. It's like when a team wins a match and the fans of the other team just shit on the winner and blame the referees. There's no discussion there, just hate. If you find that healthy to discuss..., i don't. I find it just sad, entering a thread to hate a game, but whatever....

Honestly cola and you should know this, it is the smugness of the OP that invokes this response. HEY GUYZ Look at what the majority of the consolegamers prefer, lets rub it in our faces some more about it. Amazing games have 2 sides, those who find them amazingly well and those who find them amazingly underwelming.

I know i know. I guess that to demand tolerance, i must be tolerant first with those post i don't like....but believe me, i'm trying, i'm trying......., but sometimes i just want to express my disgust about that. This was just a celebration thread, about a game that is loved by a lot of people, including me,  and even here, i can't just celebrate that with other fans of the game. I just find just depressing that more people that hate the game find more time to post it here than the people that love the game. It's like crashing a birthday party of a person. Why would you do that?? It was just a celebrate thread, not a discussing one.

I don't agree that this thread was made to rub it in your face about TLOU winning. There's been a lot of top 10 of the year or top games of the decade recelntly. TLOU won here, but in a lot of others is not even top 10, or The Witcher III is the most voted, or BOTW, or Minecraft....and it's fine. I don't see the problem. Like i said, there's a similar thread about BOTW winning Metacritic overall rating by critics and i find it as correct as this one. If BOTW won that, good for BOTW. Let's celebrate that too.

Why are you so antagonistic with me?? Tell me. What's wrong? Did i ever insulted you in any way??. Did it really annoyed you that much that i said that you (in general) should not play TLOU just like a stealth game??? It's that really that bad??? Maybe i sound to you arrogant to say i played the game 5 times?? (i probably finished the game more even more times than that since 2013....). Did that upset you??? All of this in a thread about that game, being awarded the best by their fans. Why people feel intimidated or annoyed other celebrate things you don't like?? What's the problem?!?!

If that's how you feel....well, i'm sorry i guess. Keep doing what you're doing if it makes you happy. 

LudicrousSpeed is right. Responding to somebody who didn't like a game as much as you with "you played it teH wRong!!!" is offensive and antagonistic. All of us here are gamers and thus know how to play a game, thanks.  

The reality is some people didn't like the game as much as you because we all have different gaming tastes and preferences. Also you seem to be going crazy about people "shitting" on the game... perhaps I missed it, but I don't recall seeing anything like that. I saw a bunch of "good game, not my favorite" which according to you is a fine stance... so why are you flipping out again? Oh right, because playstation.  And the mods let it happen because playstation.   

Side note, I played TLoU twice (first on the ps3 than free on the ps4). Good game. Not my favorite. 8/10 here. I thought the story and acting was superb. But the gameplay was a bit clunky.

I ran back through the thread, I really don't see anybody "shitting" on the game.  Want to see what "shitting" on looks like?  Go into any random Pokemon S/S thread.  

Congrats to TLOU. It wasn't my cup of tea. The gameplay felt tedious and boring to me. I was hoping that it got me hooked but unfortunatey it never did. Instead I rather felt insulted by how dumb the enemy AI is. It looks great, no doubt, and the animations are brilliant, but the inside still matters more to me. Another insult was the ending because it felt immensely disappointing (I don't want to spoil anything, however). I can't help myself but think it's grossly overrated yet I can still respect when people like it nontheless.

So, congrats again.

Honestly bloodborne and Gow should be number 1 and 2. The top 3 games have all have very bad to mediocre combat I think to best games should have exploration as well as great combat where you actually see yourself getting much better as you put more time in.
