They would be extremely lucky if they reached 50 millions somehow by January 2021 but it's unlikely.
If they permanent drop the official price on the S to 199$ and 149$ on the SAD edition (which means 149 and 99$ respectively through november and december)
then I think XB1 can easily reach 4 or even 5M this year, therefore reaching even 51M by the end of the year, with around 3M for next year(because of the low price) and possible 2M the next one to top 55M lifetime.
And to these that doubt it, just think a little bit. 5M or 4M is not big number for a console to sell for 1 year and is not hard especially at this price. And just see 2019 sales for xb1, it easily made 2M in just the last 2 months of the year, by october the console was around 2.5M, who would guess that by the end of the year it will be almost at 5M. With proper price cut I think it can reach at least 4M for the year without worries, so 50M is granted.
But realistically if there is price cut it will be most likely only 50$. So 4M at best even with 50$ pricecut and 3M at worst, and without any pricecuts I bet 3M.Last edited by yo33331 - on 09 January 2020
