Well I'd like to remind Sony NOT to piss me off with their PS5 not being as powerful as the Series X.

They are flaunting 106 million units sold well I'd like to remind them that if it wasn't for me they would have sold only 105.999.999 units which means that they would not be where they are now without me.

So Sony you better make the PS5 as powerful as the Series X or you'll end up selling only a hitherto unknown figure that will end by .999.999

Now do you really want to risk that, Sony, do you, DO YOU!!!!!

*End of my threatening statement*

What if the reason its 9.2 instead of 12TF, is because its 100$ cheaper?
Will you give them a pass then?

Also rumor has it that it might have a small extra chip that handles Raytraceing on the side, while the xbox series X, has it backed into that 12 TF number. So basically Raytraceing wont effect those 9.2 TF the PS5 is rated at, while it will make those 12 TF, not feel like 12 TF, whenever Raytraceing is turned on, on the Xbox.

Basically PS5 might have "secrete" sauce, that helps it punch above its weight, when useing Raytraceing compaired to the Xbox.
(ei. differnce in performance is gonna seem smaller than numbers indicate, supposedly going by rumors)

(in games that dont use ray traceing, the xbox is gonna have the performance crown without a doubt though, while with ray traceing it might be more equal)

Also, like, do you really care? They are both gonna play the same games that looks essentially the exact same, as they have for the past two generations. It's not like one of those systems is gonna be able to handle games that the other one can't, or produce noticeably better graphics than the other one. I would think you would care much more about exclusives, services, and price than any small power differences when it won't make a difference to multiplat games.

10,42 Millions Switch were sold during this last Q3 according to the last adjustments here, which provides a very serious possibility for the Switch to complete its forecast within only the 3 first quarters of the fiscal year, it has to ship 11,07 millions to achieve this (very probably planned) feat...

I think this is what happened to the Vita.  It fell short of 16M, and it also isn't as powerful as the Series X.  That explains it.

I honestly dont.
I think graphics on the base PS4 are more than fine.... and these will be a huge jump over that (reguardless of which model you get).

Seems like PS4 hold well the sales post holidays. Let's see if it will be able to beat 10M sales this year.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

If NS sells 18-20m again this calendar year that potentially has it hitting 70m and is effectively taking aim at its second prior gen predecessor the 3DS which would be the first of the Nintendo portables it moves toward.

Really strong sales from Switch, no big titles since November yet it is still performing better than last year with smash momentum. So it's clear that if it keeps an overall higher baseline atleast during the first 6 months of the year it has a chance to surpass last year's performance overall or atleast match it. But tbh, they would have to be pretty lazy to not atleast match it. Switch is going to have multiple 20+ millions years on it's resume.

Is there is people thinking it will match the 3DS ? 25 millions to go and still no price cut and revision or new model potential with major franchises still to come.

I reckon Xbone will manage to crawl over 50 million, but only just.

Good to see Switch starting the year off strong with better YOY momentum than 2019.

Last point is crucial. Profit is all that matters, in the end, and they are making way more money on this hardware than 3ds or Wii u.
