MS put 2.5B on Mohjang, bought like 5 studios past year and that won't make a dent on Sony. But still you believe MS will win the gen by spending like crazy just for the bragging rights.
Keep hoping that Sony should cower against MS.
Let's see MS buy their competitor, will wait for they to go and buy Sony and Nintendo as whole kkkkk. You asked for evidence of showing MS doing something I said they never did and never will so it seems you didn't really understand it.
About MS buying their way to success, they done a price war with X360 against PS3 and weren't able to prevent it from losing, they have been cheaper than PS4 as well for the entire gen except the first 6 months. MS can use as much money as they want, that isn't going to make they win "the war".
Sony may buy even EA and MS reply by buying Activision and that would still not make MS win. If buying "all their competition" would make MS win the war and make a lot of money they would have done it already.

Mate, what a childish response.
Are you another one of those who think results happen instantly? MS buying Studios is one thing which has only been happening recently, but having a tug of war match with a corporation multiple times bigger than the company willing to have a buy out war with is suicide, its basic logic. But you seem to think differently and like to compare the RROD money spending to buying companies.. could you grasp at any more straws to try to win your argument? Or do you like to spin the topic in so many directions that it puts the other readers off? This is about buying companies, nothing to do with money invested for maintenance issues and RnD funding in previous generations. What we are seeing from Xbox is recently new with the amount of studios they have brought and they haven't stopped there. They are on a money spree atm and that's something they can easily afford to do, so can Sony and Nintendo to an extent.
Another spin of yours but ill answer it for the 100s time with you, Last time I checked the 360 made more money than the PS3, so for you to consider the 360 a loss to the PS3, I think you need to take off your glasses off and do some actual research for a change. 360 sold more software, 1st party games sold more, cost less to make and had Live subscription income which the PS3 didn't. Oh but you would say the PS3 won because it sold 2m more units than the 360.. what a joke but I guess I expect nothing more from you. PS3 almost killed Sony at the time but I guess its business failure is blinded by that 2m more sales.
Now back on track, stop comparing unrelated events and issues to buying out companies. Its quite clear the company with the most money will majority of the time win that battle. If Sony goes out and buys Rockstar or Zenimax, than that could trigger MS and Google to buy even more studios and brands and unlike Sony, they can easily not stop there.
Also buying out the competition isn't how businesses work they will strangulate the competition to the point of submission, unless they see it as a incredible deal and the profit is easy to obtain back. MS doesn't need to buy out the whole competition to succeed and make profits with Xbox, nor are they allowed to, however if they are pushed by lets say Sony who go deep with there wallets than MS will only go deeper in there wallets and that's something Sony cannot compete with. If you refuse to believe that than you don't understand how money works. The bigger the wallet the more power you have.
I hope I cleared that up for you.
