I'm pretty sure Death Stranding will do something, but I'm pretty sure Ghosts will top it, as every PS exclusive tops anything else for a few months to a year.

I'll still be waiting for that game on PC, that tops everything else though.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I'm halfway through TLOU2 myself and enjoying every minute of it. I'm blown away by how good it looks even on my OG PS4. Watching trailers is one thing but playing it is another. I welcome further advancement but even if graphics never got better than this I'd still be happy. Can't wait to see how it'll look on PS5.

I have to say that even the face of the models on TLOU2 are superior than Death Stranding. I can't say on technical terms remembering a game on PS4 that can be better than TLOU2 in any aspects (except perhaps resolution or framerate but that is just an aspect of the game that can be done because they aren't pushing the envelope as much as TLOU2).

I saw that Horizon vid (though that's not a 2020 game )

As for Ghosts, I think the environments may eclipse Last Of Us, but nobody is taking the character model crown back. That's firmly in Naughty Dog's corner till next gen.

When they put a patch on TLOU2 and hold that title until their next game is full PS5.

Last of us 2 . easily. From animation, to art design, environment detail, character/animal model and skin texture, hair , lighting, object detail, physics, particle and smoke effects, water smoke fog fire haze. Best looking game, and that is with the grain filter applied throughout most of the game, and with it off, is a stunning pristine image.

Tlou2 is slow going for me, I keep bouncing the flash light off different materials to watch the indirect lighting change colors. It's so magical lol. The lighting is on another level, I keep stopping to watch the light, shadows and dust in the air all in beautiful HDR.

Okay, I'll begin posting some early LOU Pt II shots

*Note - and I mean it - we are not going to talk about the content of the game, its story, or how you feel about it. This is strictly a technological discussion and if you ignore this, you will be permanently banned from the thread. Again, I stress that I am not going to warn, give a second chance, or anything. This is a tech thread!

Mean stuff aside, here we are...

Though I'm not the biggest fan of PS4's loss of quality screenshots, this game is as good looking as it gets on consoles.

We need more own Screenshots here : D The game looks so beautiful(the City/worlds, characters ect), The Last of Us 2 is 100% Graphic Reference 2020 currently - together with the new Ghost of Tsushima in July. The Love to Details, Graphic and Animations are very impressive.

When I play it, I often think: "Wow, it looks incredible - like a next generation game".

I'll add some screens from Tlou2.

The level of detail is amazing

I can't get enough of the lighting in this game. Sadly a lot is lost without HDR but I found two screens that still look good in LDR

The flash light is a favorite. Playing with the shadows is always, but watching the ambient light changing color by what it bounces from is pure magic. Also a bit less without HDR but here's a good example
