It would be weird if Microsoft waited until after Flight Simulator, when they'll likely become more expensive to acquire, I think if Asobo doesn't happen this year then it ain't happening at all.

I do hope it happens, Asobo is the perfect candidate for an acquisition.

I'm saying after Flight Simulator because if it's a success, MS might consider this a franchise worthy of it's own studio. Like AOE.

So, i assume they'll try to get Asobo to secure the future of the franchise.

Yeah, I definitely don't see EA keeping the D20 combat if they do give us a KOTOR reboot. Turn based RPG's are largely a thing of the past now, outside of Japan, and even Japan moves further and further away from them these days. I would expect a reboot to have Mass Effect like 3rd person shooting for gun characters, and something very similar to Jedi Fallen Order for the melee vibroblade and eventual lightsaber combat, once you get to the Jedi Temple on Dantooine. Would like to see them implement some good Ebon Hawk space combat sections as well if possible. 

Ya...I don't want that at all. I'd much rather they go the route of something like PoE2 where you can choose between real time with pause, or just straight up turn based.

Fable II is the best by far, followed by III and then the first one. I played the anniversary edition a while ago and it was still very good but aged a bit too much.

I also can't shake the slight disappointment when playing it on original Xbox. I didn't read any gaming forums and I had no idea about the game. I read the back of the box and it said something about how every decision shapes the world around you.

Needles to say, it wasn't anything like that :P

Never understood the hate Fable III got.

With the success of Spider-Man I have no doubt that Sony will try to snap up another exclusive Marvel Title, MS will likely not even bother.

If MS was going to make a game based on a Marvel character, they should do a Daredevil game that continues the story where the Netflix show left off. Bring back Charlie Cox and the rest of the main cast. Fans would go nuts.
