I wouldn't say I'm disappointed but after having played Origins I expected a little more. It's basically more of the same with a much larger map and more activities, some steps forward, but also quite a few backwards.

Honestly for me it felt like an improvement but everyone has his own preference.

The game is huge and I can agree that most of the places feel similar but if go on the 'eductation tour' you will find out that plenty of those places are basically 90% of what they looked like back then (except for enemy camps and the fantasy stuff)

What surprised me the most was how the game got bigger and bigger in more stuff to do, after 50 hours another 'huge' quest opened up probably you already passed it if you already played a lot of the story missions.

Even after a 100 hours I was unlocking quests that were original.

BTW it took me sometime to get the platinum

I enjoyed the game and did everything except the new implemented users created quests.

I don't see how longer automatically equals better when it's just more of the same.

Origins was already long enough, especially for an AC game. Odyssey doesn't add any activity that wasn't already in Origins except for the conquest battles which serves no real purpose other than getting a bit of money and a piece of equipment and doesn't feature a new gameplay element. On top of that, story missions aren't noticeably better either.

I don't doubt that Greece was accurately recreated but if that's so then maybe it wasn't the best idea to make it the biggest AC game yet.

I'm now 35 hours in and I wish the game would end within the next few hours so I could concentrate on the DLC stuff (which will surely spice things up again) and play something else. It has kinda already overstayed its welcome. Realistically, that's not going to happen.

Considering that Fable is currently the worst kept secret in gaming, I don't think it qualifies as much of a tease when someone yet again hints at it's existence lol. Don't have to be much of an insider to do so at this point.

We've had so many Fable rumors that it is pretty much confirmed at this point. And now Perfect Dark seems to be going the same way. What other Microsoft owned IPs would you like to see a new game or remake of?

Fuzion Frenzy, or a similar style party game. Should be pretty easy to do really, and especially under the GamePass umbrella, it would be very successful imo.

Yeah that's what I meant with 'Everyone has his own preference ^^'.  You will find enough people who hate it (angry joe as an example) but then you have people who love it like the easy allies (especially Huber) =p.

I wouldn't mind a new Fuzion Frenzy or another party game. Would you have the characters people play as be from other MS IPs? Ie play as Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, Banjo, etc?

I wouldn't mind something similar to 1 vs 100. It was a lot of fun and a small chance of winning prizes was nice.

Sure, using characters from across MS franchises, especially if you also design the mini-games around various elements of these IP, would work well. It's not a must for me, but if done right, it could certainly add a lot to the experience.

Perfect Dark 64 was my favourite N64 game. The movement, the spy work, the weapon variety and the sci fi aspects!

Perfect Dark Zero felt completely different. I really hope if it’s rebooted that they recapture the slow paced N64 feel

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Brute Force -> I really think that we a modern engine and some fresh ideas, this game can be a real hit :)

Obsidian and Playground might be a good collaboration since it's PG's first time making a rpg.

I don't want collabs. It leads to less games. I'd prefer if each studio did their own thing.
