What are people's thoughts on the power differential between the two next gen consoles? Obviously noting that we won't know for sure until we see games in action?

Yes it's normal. Most Wastelands 2 achievements are complex and easily missable. Maybe check trueachivements.com to see how to unlock them.

If you're getting gang banged, perhaps you're the random going off on your own.

That can still happen when 3v2 or 4v3 even when you have a healer.

I'm not going to lie. I'm grateful that Xbox is back on top. I want to know more about the velocity architecture though and I doubt the SSD on the PS5 will be as... Game changing as some are believing even though it is quite significantly better than the one in the XSX.

I just want to see some games. Side by side. Digital foundry style.

The "Auto HDR" is absolutely awesome... I wonder how it will go with Red Dead 2.

I think that Series S is a thing though and will likely be the most sold SKU. We may have the best and worst ports for a lot of games, somewhat similar to the second half of this generation.

I played 6 matches of Bleeding Edge yesterday. It's kind a difficult to say if it's good or not. On the other hand it's casual fun but it's also bare bones.

There's something about the movement that feels annoyingly slow. Maybe the lack of sprint? It's heavily focused on teamwork, individual skill doesn't seem so important and there isn't much depth in combat.

I don't like it you can't choose the mode you want to play. And there's only two of them. Not a fan of this generic art style either.

It's not worth the 30€ price tag currently and I can't see it becoming a success. You pretty much need a full team of four and communicate. I'm sure NT will improve it though.

Tried Frostpunk yesterday and suddenly 8 hours were gone. The last hour was so intense I just had to finish the first scenario at that point. What a game.
Highly recommended.
Just do me the favour and don't pick the scenario (A New Home) from the main menu as it will automatically start on default difficulty which is way way wayyy to hard. Got my ass kicked within around 10% of the scenario's length. Sadly there's no proper tutorial mission, only a bunch of hints throughout the scenario. Be sure to make a backup save every other day as some decisions might turn out to be wrong.

Yeah, it’s a problem for sure. I really hope that the caliber of randoms increases in the future as people get more used to the game, it is so rare to get matched with a team that knows what they are doing. I’ve had several matches with people who were just wandering around the map by themselves, nowhere near objectives, or just sitting in the spawn point. Bleeding Edge seems far less forgiving as a solo player than other MP hero games like Overwatch. The time to kill in Overwatch is fast enough that you can kill at least 1 enemy before you yourself die, if you’re good enough. That is not the case in Bleeding Edge, the time to kill is long and healers heal really quickly. You simply can’t get even 1 kill in a 1v2 match-up, and even some 1v1 match-ups are unwinable with certain characters. This is a strongly team focused game, and that is always going to be a problem for a solo player. Bleeding Edge badly needs a free for all death match mode for the solo players. I would also love to see some kind of story mode with co-op missions at some point.

I wish that there was a team death match mode , Just going to have to wait and see how this game evolves with time. Nice playing with you today BTW, maybe we can get more game time tomorrow.

Nice! I'm at 24%. Do you get those contracts from Merchant Alliace voyages these days? I've only delivered message in a bottle voyages and I can't find them often. lol it used to be 1000 banana crates and some crazy fudgers actually completed it.
