I wasn't portraying racism, was just that I remember her tanned. And rivers, lakes,, etc are often brown.

Squire enix wanted "aesthetically pleasing" water & effects, and looks for a element of water or ice :)

Well lake and river are pleasing looking =p

But yes you are totally right that Shiva have always been blueish and I was making some big confusion (probably due to the name remembering me of Indian people and Ifrit/Golem being red and brown).
