As much as I love God of War (4) I’d still pick some other before it as “my favorite”. Nier Automata, MHW Iceborne and Bloodborne for example. And many others in the PS4 library would be in the conversation, like Uncharted 4, Horizon, Witcher 3, Spiderman, its hard to say were I'd rank them all. Feels like a luxury to even be able to say that "i'd pick games before" a fantastic game like GOW. Thats how good the PS4 library is. Its hard to pick "just that one game".

I have doubts if Ghost of Tsushima even belongs in the conversation tbh, Sucker Punch productions do decent games – and that’s what I think GoT will end up being, “decent”, but they haven’t done a single “great” game so far that leaves a mark like GOW or TLOU. But hey, it could go either way. We'll see. And I have great expectations for TLOU2 and Naughty Dog is yet to make a bad game. But again, it could go either way. Sequels are tricky.

But none of this matters because the single best game of the Ps4, Switch, Xbox and PC is Hollow Knight.

Uncharted 4 is my favorite PS4 game.

You can't deny it, PS4 is going to go out with a BANG in 2020.

CPU: Ryzen 7950X
GPU: MSI 4090 SUPRIM X 24G
Motherboard: MSI MEG X670E GODLIKE
RAM: CORSAIR DOMINATOR PLATINUM 32GB DDR5
SSD: Kingston FURY Renegade 4TB
Gaming Console: PLAYSTATION 5

As good as God of War was, like there’s stated I’d take Spider-Man over it, uncharted 4, hell I’d even take god of war 3 remastered on PS4 over it, I preferred its gameplay/camera. I personally don’t think GoT will be as good as LoU2. So I guess my vote would go to LoU2!

TLoU II

I guess it will be the best PS4 exclusive since it's Naughty Dog and they took their time to make it as good as possible. GoT could be one of the best but also "only" a 85 Meta game or something around that. That is still good but wouldn't be a masterpiece like TLoU II will certainly be. I guess GoT will be better than a 85 but it won't reach a Meta of 97+ which TLoU will probably get.

Judgment already is the best PS4 exclusive. I'd say Yakuza 0 but it's no longer an exclusive.

Bite my shiny metal cockpit!

I love love God of War (2018) but it's not my favorite PS4 game, though it is up there for sure. I don't care about naughty dog and while I've played all their games The Jak games and their Crash games are the only ones I like, I don't like uncharted or last of us, so I'm not even going to bother with The Last of Us: Part 2 so I don't care about its sales or reviews, though just given the nature of the beast it'll probably be the highest rated and selling of the 3.

Ghost of tsushima looks very beautiful and is a game I'll for sure play and am looking forward to it but in terms of 2020 the main games I care most about are Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Cyber Punk 2077, and Persona 5 Royal. But as for sales and review wise I think its likely that it might sell and review the worse of the 3 just because sucker punch doesnt have the clout naughty dog or Santa monica have with reviewers and the wider audience. Plus a zombie game appeals to a bigger casual audience than a ninja samurai game.

My favorite traditional game on PS4 right now is either Horizon Zero Dawn or Death Stranding. In all honesty, they may just be Co-Traditional Game of the Generation for me when it is all said and done. God of War is right behind them at the moment. Time will tell if The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima live up to the three titles already released. The Last of Us is still my current favorite game of all time, so TLOUPII has potential to overtake it, but it will be no easy task.

As far as Gameplay and Entertainment go though, nothing in the traditional space holds a candle to what PSVR has offered this gen. The number of titles that have completely reshaped my expectations on the future of their genre is staggering. For shear time alone, I would have to give the title to Gran Turismo Sport VR. Though it is only 1v1 with the AI or Time Trials, the experience is absolutely incredible. It takes it from feeling like playing a game, to feeling like taking a car out for a track day.

I could seriously go on and on about titles in VR. Moss, Astro Bot, Farpoint, Arizona Sunshine, I Expect You to Die, SUPERHOT VR, PlayStation Worlds VR, Batman Arkham VR, Ultrawings, and Beat Saber just to name a few. Every one of these titles go so far beyond what we can experience on a TV and Gamepad, that they are really not even in the same catagory anymore.

Like others have said above though, PS4 has spoiled us with games. Whether you have only dabbled in the traditional space, or you have taken the leap into the future of gaming with VR, there is an incredible amount of high quality software to choose from. The crazy thing is PS5 and PSVR2 will only be better. Gaming truly has come into its own this decade.

I loved TLoU 1 but I'm rooting more for GoT to become a critically acclaimed masterpiece. I just adore the Samurai/Ninja aesthetic. What we've seen so far of the story intrigues me a lot.
