Hello everyone, Metacritic just came out with an interesting list of the highest rated games of the last decade. Would seems interesting to discuss this, anyone disagree with the list? Which game would you have rather seen on top, or rather on the list at all?

Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not even better than Galaxy 1.  No way it should be in the top spot.

Interesting list. As I am interested in a bigger picture and also platform wars, I made a count:

PS4: 10
XBox 360: 8
PC: 7
PS3: 7
Switch: 6
Wii: 3
WiiU: 3
Xbox One: 3
3DS: 2
Vita: 1

Interesting indeed. Do you also have a total for development studios?

Would've to look it up. I may know some from my head, but not all. Also some games have multiple studios involved. So maybe later.

To not have Minecraft because of a loophole in their rules is a tough look. The PC version released in 2011 and scored a 93, but isn't included because the inferior X360 version had more reviews.

Saying one great game is not better than another great game is not much of an argument here.

I think RDR1 + 2, are rated too high.
Same with GTA 5. Also Rockband 3? INSIDE? what? why is that on the list.

Celeste also got way to highly rated.

I dont agree with metacritics scores for the most part.

Actually because xbox can play alot of XB360 games it isnt that badly off.
Also the PS4 has alot of these games even if no metion of PS4 is on it, in the list, it can still play those games.

Like PS4 can also play:
Celest, DQ11, FFXIV, Overwatch, Witcher 3 (blood &wine), ICO & shadow of the collossus, Journey, Divinity OS 2, Undertale, Witcher 3 (wild hunt), SFV,... ect ect.

On that list, its more or less only the Nintendo / xbox made exclusives the PS4 cant play.
So its not just PS4 = 10 games from list.

Out of that top50 list, PS4 can probably play like 35-40 of them.

Why is The Last of Us Remastered a seperate entry?
