Death Stranding is already at $35.00 pricepoint after 1 month from the release date.

The biggest reason why I don't buy PS4 games at launch.

I feel that they devalue their softwares to rapidly.

Smash Bros is #4 on the monthly chart. Wow! I didn't expect that for a year old game. We are going to see some crazy numbers for Smash Bros this December. I think it's lifetime sales are even going to pass Mario Kart 8 D in North America. IIRC, in a recent press statement Smash was only 0.5m behind Mario Kart in NA.

The "replica" chart leads me to believe so, too.

It's still hard to believe that Death Stranding's price is dropping so quickly for the November release game.

It's possible that Sony expected much better sales from the game and now sits on tons of unsold copies, but still weird.

Could seriously have sold them at a lower pricepoint from the get-go instead of dropping off the price so early...

That's 100% what happened. Sony would rather it sell for $60 than $40, obviously. If they did this before Christmas, then the game isn't doing well. To the price point, again, Sony would rather sell it for more than less so they wouldn't release it at $40. 

This just continues to show there is still plenty of demand for the PS4, even after selling 105M+, it just needs a price cut.
