"Mortal Kombat 11 costs fifty quid. I can get NetherRealm's wonderful fighting game for under thirty quid from Amazon. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, which came out over a year ago, also costs fifty quid. That's under twenty quid on Amazon. Kine is twenty quid, whereas it's £16 on the Epic Games store. Red Dead Redemption 2 is £54.99 on Stadia. I can get Rockstar's cowboy epic from Amazon for just over £40"

How much are google being charged?

I bet google will pull it within two years.

It was the same with digital movies at the start. Old movies were put up for more than you would pay at release for the blu-ray. Early adopter fee.

You keep laughing but when the new expensive next²gen hardware will becoming, many will settle for streaming instead of spending 549$ on a new box.

Btw all of you have a Stadia account already and you are just one click away from buying games there.

Everyone had a Google+ account back in the day, and that didn't help it at all.

Well I own a Switch, so I cant really complain about high prices...

So, a waste of money and time as far as I can see. Maybe with time things will change, but it's the same thing as with pretty much every console at release. There's just no reason to even consider getting it until at least 12 months later.

A different product in different circumstances performed differently.

Imagine Nintendo would offer streaming. Not just plebeian style but running games on OC hardware so you can stream BotW in real 4K60fps*.

*14.99$ month SuperStream deal, limited offer.
