That glory has been around so long that it is now a given dunno where is the fun in rubbing it in anymore.

I have a feeling that most long-time perma-banned members wouldn't return. Don't know obviously. Just a guess.

Banned users always just make alt-accounts anyway. Not really sure we'd see as much of an uptick in conversation and activity. The issue of traffic has much more to do with a decline in parity of the console wars, the fact that this site originated pre-facebook, instagram, etc, and the reliance of modern websites on mobile, which this site lacks almost completely. Good luck if you ever get logged out on your mobile device. It's almost impossible to log back in because of the wonky interface.

Been here as long as you have, and written for the site between 2010-2011 and now again since last year :p

remember back when there used to be the monthly moderation threads of people who got banned and there was one month where one guy (idr the name) created like 20 alt accounts and the mods titled the thread "monthly ban thread: everyone was [this user] edition"

In all seriousness though. This site needs to become mobile-friendly. It's 2019 and users expect a good experience when browsing on their phones and tablets. I know creating a mobile version or making the site responsive can mean a lot of work for the staff but as is the potential of the site is severly limited.

Another suggestion (yes, I'm being serious here) is for VGChartz to have it's own podcast and stream on Youtube or Twitch.

I wouldn't mind unbanning some users. Not sure how other mods feel.
