Forums - Movies & TV - Star Wars Vader vs Kenobi Reimagined

This is for those Star Wars fans.

FXitinPost has posted there reimagining of the classic Vader vs Kenobi clash in Episode 4 A New Hope. Its been getting tons of praise for its effort and totally puts the old movie fight scene to shame.

This is a must Watch for those who enjoyed the movies.

Enjoy.

After seeing this, I really hope they reimagine the Luke vs Vader fight scene in Return of the Jedi.

Thanks for sharing this. Absolutely epic.

Very nice. The original scene was pretty weak.

I was more impressed with this reimagination:

That's really cool, looks like one of the best interpretation of Vader's might. The best, and unmatched.

I've seen that, OP's I mean, not Conina's, and it's really well done. Obviously it wouldn't have been possible to film it like that in 1977, but I'll just pretend it plays out like this in the actual movie.

Technically well done but missing the original point. An old master meets his former student, a duel of the mind not physical strength. This is just mindless pew pew pew.

100% agreed. Instead of just letting the dialogue and action tell the story, they just try to make it look cool and fast-paced, like the prequels, and have to add in the overdramatic voiceovers from those films to tell the story.

Saw this a while back. It's a little over produced and doesn't fit with the rest of the scene but sometimes that's what I want. I'm really impressed with what is possible these days. We've come a long way.

A bit over the top. Of course, if ever there is a remake, be sure they'll do it exactly like this, with even more exploding things.
