thanks for the reply :)

Some critics say that the second half really picks us and adds the cream to the cake , are you seeing that?

If the game is 50 hours longs, I'm just starting the second quarter.

Noticed a typo in game. :O

Played a few more hours. Mission 5 was pretty brutal. Not sure if the timing of when it rains is random or if it's incorporated into the missions themselves, but I got really unlucky and was rained on the entire time. Barely managed to finish. I'm playing on hard mode, but I'm not sure how that affects things quite yet.

The punishment for death is so extreme Idk how you could stand hard mode, I dropped down to normal after I...

Spoiler!
I got pulled into a place I had three great bridges and made a crator of two of them causing me to create a new network and a much longer path across the rivers near Distribution west of capital know city. Those bridges were so perfectly placed. I wonder if my crators end up in others games or do my bridges get pulled from the chiral network.

What is the punishment for death? Mission #9 is next for me (although I finished #10 already), but so far I haven't died or lost cargo. I was very curious about what would happen. I'm assuming there's no fast travel (at this point in the game at least; would rather not know if it's going to be available later) so you'd have to make your way back to the start of the mission maybe? Or does it put you back in capital knot? Ew if that's the case.

Spoiler!

You make a massive crator in the ground filled with Chirilium where you died, not as big as that one NPC did in the vutscene at thw start of the game but enough to be a hindrance if the location is not ideal. You wake up in that crators edge with your packages severally damaged. I'm assuming if your bike is there it gets destroyed along with its cargo as with the bridges and buildings.

And no fast travel for me, yet so far. But routws get easier when players and yourself build infrastructure. I can make it bavk from port knot city to Capital know city in about 2 minutes and a half, sonething that woulf have took me a half hour on my first run not vouting cutscenes.

I am really liking the game so far!

It's impossible for me to properly assess what my end take will be at this early stage, but so far, about six hours in, I really like Death Stranding! I've been hearing that the story really picks up about ten hours in, but it's already gotten pretty interesting to me!

If slow-paced game play really bothers you then this game may not be for you, at least based on what I've played of it so far. The tedium of it seems to be part of the point though, not something accidental, and that's what has enabled me to power through points of frustration easily so far. It's super easy to see that this game is from the heart. I'll probably have more to say about it when I'm further along.

Omg.

Spoiler!
I just realized the crators left from the explosions when you die to a catcher have massive hand prints in them. Even the one from the start of the game that took out that one city, you can see it has an imprint on the map obscured a bit by the rivers and weathering.

I just ended up making another one on my secondary route between capital knot and port knot, thabkfully I was ablr to exit the game fast enough and load a save I had downloaded to my OG. Feels like cheating but without that I'd be forced to hike mountains and leave my bike.

This game is fucking INCREDIBLE! Everyrhing I wanted it to be and more. Story is starting to pick up too and all the explanation stoey telling seems to be winding down. I was worried that. I recommend to everyone to read the interviews too as they surface cause there is some good stuff in there and the mail, although a load of nonsense most of the time has really good tips, you only need to rwad the highlighted parts thankfully.

Oh and IGN just spoiled, through a thumbnail and decided to watch it anyway...

Spoiler!
The hover board and later mid west US mountain ranges, God it looks so fun and pretty.

I'm gonna take a guess and say all US environments are in the game as it progresses whih is my biggest complaint of the game so far, is things are too vlose together. They could have really stretched out this whole idea by lengthening the distance in between but alas, that would make the casuals revolt.

I'll wait for the PC version. I heard it's more of a cinematic experience than a regular game, and I'm not against that. In fact, the graphics and the setting are looking really good.

But in games like that, I must really enjoy the plot and the characters in order to keep playing.

Does anyone no if there is a skip button for the animations like building, pissing, shower ect without having to press start and then skip?
