Wait, what? Diablo 4? If this turns out to be true, then screw that Hong Kong nonesense, I was supporting Blizzard all along.

Diablo 3 was a terrible game. I would go so far as to say it wasn't even a game, it was a glorified spreadsheet with no gameplay whatsoever. I hope they reboot the series with Diablo 4, otherwise I'm not interested.

Overwatch 2 I will keep a very close eye on, best new shooter IP in years IMO.

I own ow on pc but never played it more than 1 hour, I got bored to death in that 1 hour. ow2 would be, at least for me, the wrong way to rekindle my interest. they should extend the old game with new maps, mechanics, heroes and crossplay.

Compaired to what is expected, and comeing off of the high that was Diablo II.......Yes? Terrible... if compaired to D2.

On its own? its a "decent" game in the genre, but no longer the king of it.
Path of Exile feels like a much better experiance if your into these types of games.

Grim Dawn + TouchLight are pretty good too.
Diablo 3 was a letdown, which is probably a better word usage than terrible.

I hope Overwatch 2 is being designed as a next-gen game, but I doubt it is if they are announcing it now instead of at the next BlizzCon, best we can hope for is a cross-gen, though cross-gen will still hold the graphics back quite alot. I also really hope that Overwatch 2 has a singleplayer campaign, Overwatch fans have been begging for one ever since Overwatch released. They're going to need to do big things with Overwatch 2 like a campaign and removal of lootboxes in favor of direct purchase microtransactions if they want to win back fan support after all of the recent missteps.

The rumours floating around about Overwatch 2 right now are that it will be PvE focused. What remains to be seen is if the original will be "attached" to OW2 or if they'll co-exists side by side.

They have done that. There have been maps, heroes and modes added to the game since launch. The only thing missing is crossplay.

Diablo II Remake or not interested really. Update the graphics, add some quality of life features like a shared stash, more secure online to prevent duping and hacks, and add some extra late game content. Surely even modern Blizzard can manage to do that without fucking up.

Literally all they have to do. Diablo 2 is one of my favorite games of all time and i can still go back to it and enjoy it. The only thing that didn't really age well is the graphics which are honestly not that bad but a remaster would be great. Maybe add some items and events like Ubers or even a new class idk.

The 20th anniversary of the game is next year in June, i ca totally see them releasing the game that month to give something while they working on Diablo 4, which it's obvious they HAVE to announce it this year. They had to even before but now with the bad PR and Diablo immortal like if they don't it's going to be too much bad press for the company. So i'm not expecting much except like a teaser and a title design.

I agree, i can't understand how they managed to make D3 this bad and like de-evolve in so many ways 10 years after diablo 2. It feels like Disney's SW trilogy to me, they kinda tried to reboot it for casual and it didn't work then tried to reach back to the hardcore fanbase that already left by adding new stuff but it just makes the whole thing a mess.

They really just should go back to the roots, use the perfect system that Diablo 2 used and change it a little to make it more modern like shared stash.

Personally, I can't wait for overwatch 2. It's going to be more expandable in terms of game modes, as the original game's engine is fairly limited. There's plenty of reason to make an overwatch 2. I just hope the content carries over from the first game. Of course they'd have to upgrade a lot of the old skins and... Now that I think about it, would be really expensive for blizzard to do that for free... But it would be nice to get something like that.

Don't care, boycotting this shitty freedom hating company.

Count me in.

D4 is likely to be yet another rehash and a total grindfest, while being heavily dependant on just gear alone, not skills and talent choices, while OW2 will likely be a duplicate of Fornite 2, where it's just some new skins and a few new maps. Couldn't give two shits about some magical new PVE focus, because we know Blizz is all about dat esports actions. Not falling for that promise twice.
