Finished the game last night. Easily GotY 2019 for me. Loved the coop and creativity. Only minor complaint I had was the last boss was kind of a PITA.

Yum!

Oh yeah, now I'm hungry!

Gameplay > Graphics

Substance > Style

Art Direction > Realism

So far, I'm really enjoying the game. Collecting money is really addicting, and I really enjoy the bosses and rooms. Not to mention the controls are a lot better than Luigi's Mansion 2. I do wish the rooms were darker (I love that in the original Luigi's Mansion), but this is probably the best Luigi's Mansion to date. I still never beat Luigi's Mansion 2 because of one of the difficulty spikes at the end. This game seems to be a lot more reasonable in that department.

Lifetime Sales Predictions

PS4: 122 mil (was 100 million) Xbox One: 55 mil (was 50 mil) Switch: 79 million

3DS: 77 mil (was 73 million)

With the exception of the final boss, I agree.  However I did find the final boss to be significantly harder than the previous bosses.  It was a bit jarring.

By far the best Luigis Mansion. Some of the bosses were just so creative. Especially the Beethoven like ghost fight. Good and fun game overall.

Amadeus Wolfgeist really takes the cake as one of the most creative bosses I've beaten in a long time. He even mumbles German gibberish!

It does help that I'm a sucker for classical music.

I just realized something about Luigi's Mansion 3.

-Lovable coward who wears green.

-Has a lovable dog.

-Seems to end up in scary place almost all the time.

-Constantly chased by scary monsters.

-Has to capture said monsters.

It's practically a Scooby-Doo game!

Lol

Just started the medieval floor, and man, it takes an already pretty game to the next level, (badum tssh) very nice use of art and lighting/shaders. The game as a whole is definitely one of the top ten best looking Switch games to date in my book.

Despite my previous rant, I love almost everything else about the game; clearing out rooms for cash and fighting non-boss ghosts is very satisfying, and it's a great example of how to use motion controls in an effective and intuitive way.
