Finished Tomb Suites. Have mixed feelings; the ancient Egypt motif was cool, the puzzles were well designed, and the boss was fun. On the other hand, it often put me under time pressure, which is something I don't like as I play games to relax. The sand physics mechanic was really cool though.
Also, one minor but annoying quibble with the game in general; I can't count the number of times I've had to watch money disappear while either a cutscene plays or Luigi goes through a victory animation and I have no control. I even got bit by a snake on this floor while immobile like this. Would it really have been that hard to "freeze" enemies and money during these bits?
The next floor seems to be one they showed nothing of in pre-release footage, at least not that I saw, so super keen to play through that tonight.Last edited by curl-6 - on 13 November 2019
