Watched a few reviews, this will be a pass for me. Seems like a lot of talking. Not my thing.

Okay, I've had time to check it out. Looks nice, they're the guys that killed Fallout for me though so I'm skeptical.

Looking good, first game I've preordered since Tekken 7.

Hmm, pie.

It's what proper RPGs do tend to have, and these folks have been in RPG business for a long time.

They are the ones who invented Fallout in the first place (back when they were in Interplay) - it's Bethesda who took a dump on that IP.

I agree Fallout 4 was dumbed down to appeal to casuals and Fallout 76 is one of the biggest disasters in video game history.

Depends on what you mean as "proper."  Obviously story is part of the experience, but it should be balanced.  The one review stated the game was 60% talking and 40% gameplay.  That isn't the balance I am looking for.

Honestly, I highly doubt Obsidian would make a game that forces you to talk 60% of your gameplay time, but I get the gist of it...and (as old school cRPG gamer and recently returning from 30 year hiatus pen & paper RPG gamer) I say - Great.

Because way too often modern RPGs (and Pseudo RPGs) heavily favour 2 pillars (combat and exploration) over the 3rd one (social interaction) and seeing game that isn't shy to go more heavy on it (like many cRPGs of the past) is right up my alley.

Fair perspective to take.  We are just on different sides of the spectrum, which is why it is nice to see gaming have diversity.  The game, while perhaps not for me, looks very good.  Enjoy.

Fallout Mass Borderlands?

This, Battletoads and Luigi's Manson are the last games ill be buying this year. I think they can hold me until Ori 2.
