The PS4 has become my favorite system of all time.

Forums - Sony Discussion - The PS4 has become my favorite system of all time.

Both the ps1 and ps2 have amazing games but i whas yo young to have played them all since i had to rely on my parents to buy me a game.

The ps3 gen is the first one ibplayed from launch till end buying and playing all the games i wanted but..

It doesnt even come close to the sheer amount of games that i played and are available on ps4 and it keeps on increasing.

I just cant deny it,the ps4 is my favorite system of all time!

It's a great system no doubt, so many great games so I can definitely see why people love it the most, but for me it's the Switch at this time, having the ability to play so many great games on the go or docked wins it for me

To me it's the PS1 without a single doubt.
PS4 has great games, a lot of them, but the PS1 still has more.
PS4 is coming in second place, tho, it's about to surpass the PS2 with TLoU2 and GoT.

Funny, despite being the Playstation where I played the most games, I think is the worst console of the four xD

Ow? Ps3 whas the worst of the 4, why you think ps4 is the worst? Curious about it.

For me, it is Switch hands down. PS2, PS3, and PS4 (until the Switch came) are my favorites of each respective gen (or half gen for PS4), but being able to play great games both at home and on the go natively and seemlessly has been a game changer. Plus there are several top notch exclusives to boot.

I still love my PS4, but it has been reduced to a side console I only fire up for one or two games a year. There are only a few games on it that both interest me and are not also on Switch.

My favorite will always be N64 as its where I started gaming.
PS4 probably does have the best library ever though. A good half a dozen games that'd make my top 10 of all time.

By so much it isn't even a competition. 2015-2019 on PS4 has been well ahead of other systems and gens of the past but add in PSVR (2 years od it for me) and it is double the length of the track in front, if not more. 2014 felt lile it was going to be the worst console gen ever qnd a time to give up on gaming qnd then boom, Bloodborne hit and kicked of the best gen yet and soon after one of the best games of all time dropped, The Witcher 3 and it still kept on getting better. Fingers crossed it's just a lull we are in now and not the other side of the slope but tbh, if this is it and TloU, DS and GoT don't impress and all the VR cards are being held for the 9th gen then it's still been by far the best system on the best gen out of the 5 I've been old enough to game on so far.

-Android user, please be gentle with critique on my spelling.

If I found Sony’s first party titles good, I would probably agree with you. The third party titles on PS4 are some of the best ever

That's why, as a kid with little to no money, having a modded PS1 and PS2 allowed them to play a lot of games they normally wouldn't.

Since I did have a modded PS2, and played a lot more games than I have this generation (both because I had the means, and the time), along with the fact that I think PS2 had some of the best entries in franchises/genres I love, it's my favorite system. By far.
