That's another thing people should consider as well. Many of Nintendo's teams/developers were still on 3DS projects as well, so that took away some resources from Switch games.

Here is a list of games. I think a lot of people will be shocked at the 3DS output from 2017-2019. This includes games they published, but didn't develop. (Going by NA releases)

Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World
Tank Troopers
MarioSportsSuperstars
Bye-Bye BoxBoy
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe
Fire Emblem: Echoes

Here's some more

Ever Oasis

Hey Pikmin

Kirby Blowout Blast

Metroid Samus Returns

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga

Mario Party Top 100

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

Style Savvy Styling Star

Kirby Battle Royale

Dillon's Dead Heat Breakers

Detective Pikachu

Sushi Striker (Cross-gen with Switch)

Captain Toad (Cross-gen with Switch)

WarioWare Gold

Luigi's Mansion

Mario & Luigi Bowser's Inside Story

Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn

That's a lot of games. But keep in mind, Nintendo only had these games made as a backup plan in case the Switch failed. Now that it's a success though, they're able to move on from it (abiet sooner than they anticipated).
