Forums - Sales Discussion - What happened to software sales stats?

If I got it right, somebody with enough power decided not sharing information about software sales, not even restricted to physical releases. Where can we get that information? Is there any way?

I think is so relevant. I just hate not being able to analyze that.

As I understand it, it has become essentially impossible to get accurate info, so this site is no longer collecting it.

It certainly does suck, but it's just the way it is now. ^VAMatt pretty much hit the nail on the head.

As that information is valuable, I fear there might be other forces operating from the shadows.
A quick search lead me to https://newzoo.com/. And it's not the only site around.

Real question is why don't they update the weekly charts with just hardware?

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.
