Amen to you, OP both for your OP and for your Chibi Robo love! Personally i'm glad the Switch is doing well but also disheartened that the Nintendo faithful (unlike me) largely ignored the Wii u :(


As for returning IP's. Sorry I can't choose just 1. I would love to see.... Chibi Robo (aforementioned), Earthbound, "Wars", Wii series, Startropics and Warioware. Not greedy, honest!

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

Dark Dawn was god awful tho. Thats why I rather they do a reboot, updating graphics and gameplay, keeping core mechanics and make all that 10923781289 dialogue scenes to be skippable (or make them MUCH shorter at least) because Jesus, like 5 hours of the games were just reading people explain in a very non-efficient manner what was going on.

Agreed, your point is an excellent one.  I was being a smart*** in my reply.  I mean I hate all things Rockstar, but really liked Max Payne, and to your point that makes sense.  Really more than anything, I was trying to understand why I thought Max Payne was Rockstar, which that makes sense as well.  I liked Max Payne because Rockstar didn't make it, but thought it was Rockstar since their name was on the packaging.

Not sure how “Nintendo faithful hardcores” or whatever have anything to do with this though. Most people who call themselves that are tremendous assholes who want Nintendo to be more like they were with failed consoles like Gamecube, rather than Wii/Switch/handhelds.

When you say a statement in this way, you're not doing much to differentiate yourself from the same behavior.  I'm sure you have a justifiable point of some kind, even though your statement is obviosuly a blanket over generalization, but the words you've chosen to convey your argument suggest you'd all enjoy a nice beer together.

I got my Switch at launch day with BOTW and immediately it brought me back to gaming after many years of indifference, so I love this console. ;)

I absolutely would like to play another Kid Icarus game, or a remake of the first one or Myths & Monsters for the old Gameboy.
Also, I would enjoy a new F-Zero or Advance Wars!
