I went through the exact same procedure about two weeks ago when I got my Mariko Switch. Had to transfer first my accounts and hope everything went well. Then download all the digital games which was close to 400gb, and then pop every physical game in a update them. I have about 200 or more titles in total. |
This is probably only going to impact a tiny number of people as well... but why is there no real download queue control, also the download queue seems limited to what... about 30 games at a time? With no error message to alert you that games after that aren't added to the list.
Also you might want to check out games with dlc, I had a few like Superbeat Xonic and Tetris 99 which only downloaded the DLC but not the games needed to play them I had to navigate to Tetris 99's own page... on the US store to be able to download it (the EU store where my online account is just says the game is purchased with no option to download) the thing is, I work in IT support and teaching IT support and I'm running into issues with this, the average kid is just gonna be crying his eyes out and thinking he'll just start a new Nintendo account on it instead and dad can just buy him the games again on that, it'll be easier.
Why don't they just let you hop the SD card from one Switch into the other and rebuild the game DB like the Vita got so perfectly right... I mean if your system is less friendly than the Vita's one you're in trouble.
Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive
