Kinda curious if this will take off. I've enjoyed Fire Emblem Heroes and Dragalia Lost...but can't say I've really enjoyed Nintendo's other mobile efforts up to this point. Seems like more misses than hits honestly.

You should care because it actively promotes making games a chore to play.

This is how games on mobile are and have been for ages now :/, many companies have tried the one time payment approach like you have on consoles but it just does work on mobile only the free to play approach seems to fly there.

Seriously! Have you read the transcripts of questions shareholders ask the upper Nintendo management? I wouldn't be able to hold a straight face through many of those! I remember one year there was a guy basically telling them they should stop making video games. Like what on Earth is Nintendo supposed to do then lol?

Everyone saying their mobile games mean absolutely nothing for their real games is willfully ignoring Pokemon Let's Go. Naturally I hope this garbage crashes and burns, but it is Mario Kart so I fear that's unlikely.

Ah. Then, I completely agree. FE Heroes is super generous and kind to F2P people. It doesn't look like MK Tour is nearly as nice. We'll see how it plays out.
