Forums - Sony Discussion - USA: Sony opens Online Store

If they want any chance of this gaining ground it needs to be integrated into the PlayStation Store, and the PlayStation Wallet. That will get it in front of 100+ Million PS4 users. As a random website, most people will never even know this is a thing.

Won't be surprised to see this fall flat, just like the old SonyStyle Store, or the PlayStation Gear Store, which has already closed and re-opened once. Sony's lack of unification across all aspects of its business is a huge part of why so many of its endeavors have failed, and continue to fail.

Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.

new, this fall:

Sony should leave retailing to retailers. Prices will almost certainly not be good (they likely have contractors with major retailers that prohibit them from pricing below MSRP in their own retail operations), so I don't see where this brings anything of value to the market. Unlikely that I'll be shopping there.

Where's the Euro store, you know the continent that keeps them going.

Free shipping on PS+ (40M users, don't know how many in USA).

Let's wait and see if they put any value on this or if will be garbage level effort.
